Project overview:

For years, the genocide of Kashmiri Pandits has been ignored and denied in India, reinforced
by silence, indifference, false narratives, and conspiracy theories that blame the victims—
the Kashmiri Pandits—rather than holding the perpetrators accountable.

As a Kashmiri Pandit, I felt compelled to create a piece that educates people about the
tragic history of my community, which began in the early 1990s and still continues today.

Through my design, I highlight the contrast between the outward appearance of calm and
the harsh reality beneath it.
